The XL-F42-YL puts a one-megapixel sensor, soft-light illumination and a 21.6 mm thin body on a single board, built to sit inside medical analysers, self-service terminals and slim device panels. The soft-light system spreads illumination evenly over the code surface so close-range reads neither glare nor wash out, while the 1 MP sensor handles printed labels and phone screens with the same module. USB, RS-232 and TTL-232 are standard; an NFC reader and a glass window are optional.
The XL-F42-YL is an embedded scan module built around three things: a one-megapixel sensor for imaging, a soft-light system for even illumination, and a 21.6 mm body that fits inside thin panels. Together they target the awkward jobs - small labels on vials, reagent bottles and blood tubes, plus phone screens held close to the window.
USB, RS-232 and TTL-232 output as standard make it straightforward to connect to an industrial PC, a mainboard or existing serial equipment. An optional glass window allows flush mounting in a device panel, and an optional NFC reader covers access and membership cards.
A plain LED ring creates a bright spot on a label held close to the window, and that glare can stop a code from decoding at all. The soft-light system diffuses the beam so the code surface is lit evenly, which is what compact devices with a window very close to the label need.
It reads printed labels on curved surfaces, but the actual read rate depends on label size, print quality, curvature and mounting distance. Send us a section of the real tube and label and we will confirm the read rate on your media before you fix the model and mounting position.
Neither is standard - both are configured per project. NFC covers access and membership cards; the glass window is for flush mounting in a device panel. Specify which you need on the order.
A 15-second clip: the module plugged into a laptop, its soft-light illumination magnifying a tiny metal part on screen - close-range reading without glare.
