What problem does this software solve?

On production lines, in warehouses and at packing stations, mis-scans, missed scans and mixed-up codes are a common source of quality incidents, and checking by eye is slow and unreliable. Barcode Comparison Software takes what should be scanned as the master barcode, captures what is actually scanned in real time and compares the two automatically — a match passes, a mismatch alarms immediately, turning error-proofing from manual visual inspection into automatic interception.

Three-color alarm light control: drives the three-color light over a dedicated serial port so status is clear at a glance
Error alarm latch: locks the status after an error to prevent repeat mistakes
One-key reset: one-key reset returns to work once the issue is confirmed and handled
Auto light-off on exit: closing the software automatically resets the light state, leaving no stale status behind

Quick Start

Download, unzip and run the main program (no installation; if antivirus software pops up on first run, choose Allow / Trust).
Enter the correct barcode to be scanned at this workstation in the "Standard Barcode" area.
In the serial port settings, select the COM port and baud rate of the scanner and open the port.
Enable the three-color light serial port and voice announcements as needed, then start scanning — correct codes pass through, wrong codes alarm.

💡 Software includes a 3 day free trial; when it expires, the matching key is required for activation. Keys are provided by Xinlong IoT — contact us to obtain one.
