XL-F42-YL soft-light demo: reading a tiny part up close

About this demonstration

This demonstration shows the XL-F42-YL embedded scan module connected to a laptop, with a tiny metal part presented close to the module. The enlarged target image on the screen makes the close-range illumination easier to see.

Watch the relationship between the target position, the illuminated area and the image shown on the host. For the engineering background, the related application article discusses reading small codes on dental consumables.
