D52-E Access Reader: QR, NFC and ID Card in One 86-Panel Unit

Access control upgrades hit the same wall: visitors expect to scan a QR code, residents are used to tapping a card, and security wants an ID on record. One device per method means three holes in the panel, three backends, and double the install and maintenance cost. The D52-E reads QR codes, NFC cards and second-generation ID card UIDs on one unit, in a standard 86 panel footprint, and sends everything over TCP/IP to a single backend.

1. Why Choose the D52-E

Three credential types, one device. A 640×480 CMOS imaging engine covers mainstream 1D and 2D symbologies. Visitors show a phone QR code or an electronic pass and walk in. NFC reads Mifare-compatible cards, ISO/IEC 14443A cards and NFC phones, so residents tap a card or a phone. Second-generation ID card UID reading leaves a record for security and controlled areas.

Standard 86 panel size, no renovation. The standard 86 switch footprint replaces or embeds in most access and gate panels. Wall boxes need no enlarging, and old sites upgrade without re-cabling or cutting new chases: less work on site, faster handover.

Networked deployment, central management. TCP/IP communication with HTTP, HTTPS, TCP and UDP data transfer sends door records and passage data from multiple buildings to one backend in real time, so administrators configure each device remotely instead of travelling to every door. IP65 dust and water protection and night fill light keep reading clear in corridors and at outdoor gates.

2. Application Scenarios

1. Visitor QR Access in Office Buildings and Business Parks

The front desk issues a one-time QR code; the visitor shows it at the gate and walks in without an escort, while staff keep using their cards or phones. Scan records link to the visitor registration, so who entered, who left and at what time stays on file.

2. Card Access Upgrade for Residential Communities and Apartments

An older community runs card and QR access side by side: owners keep their Mifare cards or use NFC on their phones, while visitors and couriers scan a code at the door and the property office authorises a one-time pass remotely. Access is granted and cancelled per card and per code, so stopping a tenant at move-out takes one click rather than changing lock cylinders.

3. ID Verification at Security Gates and Government Service Halls

At security check gates and government service hall entrances the D52-E works as a reading front end embedded in the gate panel: people pass by scanning an ID card or showing a booking QR code, and ID card UID reading feeds real-name registration. Passage speed and verification rigour both improve, a fit for airport terminals, government offices and service halls.

4. Integrated Attendance and Access Control

Attendance and access control share one reader: staff tap a card or scan a code to open the door, and that record goes to the backend as the raw attendance entry, so no separate terminal is needed. Multiple workshops and floors sit on one network, and month-end reports export straight from the system.
